Hundreds of VIP Buyers Gather In Africa

RT Media’s successful circuit of regional events continue to be upgraded to meet the needs of exhibitors and visitors alike. The RT Imaging Expo—EMEA 2019 visited both Accra, Ghana and Cairo, Egypt, in the same week.

In Accra, Ghana, RT partnered with a strong office and school supplies exhibitor to deliver more diverse business opportunities for visitors and exhibitors alike. The expo had 1,600 participants (1,238 unique visitors from 11 countries) over three days visit 66 exhibits. Visitors, manufacturers, remanufacturers and suppliers of copier and printer supplies and office supplies met new friends, obtained new industry information and are expected to win new business opportunities from this venture.

David Gibbons, Director of the RT Media Co., Ltd, shared his great experiences and knowledge about how to use social media as a strong tool to expand business connections and gain new business opportunities.

Just a few days later, RT Media went back to Cairo Egypt with Egypt China Technology and Exhibition Center, and created a new-model, one-day expo and gala summit where the leading 80 key buyers, importers and distributors of office equipment and consumables supplies and VIP government delegations in Egypt—accounting for almost 90% of the market—met with key suppliers from China to grow the industry in partnership in both countries.

During the VIP networking dinner, Dr. George Nubar, the head of the printing section and board member at the Chamber of Printing and Packaging Industries, enticed the VIPs with “Business Opportunities in the Digital Printing Market” focusing upon the key drivers and trends in the Egyptian market and listed six key advantages to doing business with China.

The “one expo—two cities” model which focused upon shorter events with key buyers and sellers was a success in 2019. Next year, RT Media will continue bringing buyers and sellers together in other African destinations in 2020.

And will be waiting for all the imaging industry players to join our next Expos in 2019 will be in Russia from 15 to 17 May, Mexico on June 11^th, Colombia on June 13^th and 14^th, and ending with the world’s largest exhibition dedicated in imaging and office equipments in Zhuhai, the world’s capital of printing supplies.
